WE BEEN LIVED HALLOWEEN AND ITS WHITE SUPREMACY, BIH, About The EP:
Inspiration for the title came from feeling like, as much as we enjoy Halloween, we overlook the very things we are enticed to enjoy and that is to be scared — of subjects rendered as anomalous through the euro-western lens.
In reveling in this thrill to be scared — we moreover arrive at an unsettling irony:
Whiteness is essentially the 400+year horror — that nihilistic terror that has existed in america/the world.
Though the violent creation of america is somewhat new to some, the length in time in which it has failed as a country (functioning as it was supposed to), grossly overwhelms the cultural colloquialisms of Halloween.
Around this time, more of us slowly, but surely begin to pick up on that.
